-Closing the showroom to walk-in traffic. Service and sales are by limited appointment only.
-Only one person or couple will be allowed at a time. No groups larger than two under any circumstances.
-Limiting the time each customer is allowed in the store. Fifteen (15) minutes for service appointments. Thirty (30) minutes for sales appointments.
-Cleaning/disinfecting all counter surfaces and jewellery handled after each appointment.
-We are suspending all while-you-wait services. This includes watch batteries and jewellery cleaning.
-All watch service is suspended until the lockdown is lifted. This includes watch battery changes and bracelet adjustments.
What our customers need to do:
-DO NOT COME IN IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING SYMPTOMS
-Anyone entering the store must be wearing a 3-ply medical mask. Face shields or anything else that does not form a seal around the nose and mouth are not acceptable.
-If you are unable to follow these guidelines you are welcome to shop online or drop off you repair at the door (appointment required - NO WALK INS)
-Reach out by phone or e-mail to set up an appointment time
-Pre-shop by using our website or ring-builder so that we can efficiently use your appointment time.
-When you arrive at the store, please call us at (519) 741-8900 to check-in. We will call back when the store is empty and has been cleaned.
-We request that you please wait in your car until called, do not line up in front of the store.
-For the security of our staff and clients, we may ask you to briefly remove your face covering upon entering the vestibule at the front of the store. This is a requirement of our insurance company, please do not take it personally. Masks must be put back on in order to be allowed in past the first door.
-If you are coming in to sell your jewellery or have a repair done, please come prepared with your jewellery untangled, sorted to the best of your ability, and ready to be examined or assessed. If we must sort or untangle the jewellery ourselves you will be asked to leave it with us overnight, a receipt will be issued, and a follow-up appointment scheduled.
-Use phone or e-mail for simple questions. If more information is required we will schedule an appointment.
-Unfortunately, we are not be able to entertain social calls at this time.
-Any failure to adhere to these guidelines, or any attempt to argue them with staff, will result in a refusal of service, ban from the store and/or a tresspass.
-John Anthony Jewellers has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to abusive language, threats, or conspiracy theories. Please be respectful to each other.
